This coming year is looking like it will move us further into the evolution of the healthcare and wellness industries. In that same vein, as it has happened for the last two years, telehealth is going to remain a huge player. Telehealth is here to stay, but with the integration of in-office visits. In your office, this will mean that focus will shift to in-house customer care. Another new trend is going to be the emphasis on mental health and emotional well-being, as has been the case since 2020. This prominence is due, in part, to the pandemic’s reduction of the stigma related to getting help from a professional for mental and emotional health struggles. A limitation that is also being jumped over in 2022 is equity in health care, especially how access is given to those in minority groups and the dawn of health benefits that are more easily accessible. With all of this in mind, accessibility, virtual care, and health plan financial stability are all going to be at play in this coming year.
